SweetEasy, a secret dessert bar, started serving up decadent treats after the ratification of the 28th Amendment—a prohibition on the manufacturing and sale of sugary sweets. This conceptual project explores what would happen if prohibition happened again in 2020. As opposed to alcohol, the current demonization of sugar suggests that desserts would be banned. Confectioners would be forced to sell their goods illicitly and the nightlife culture around sugar would thrive.
