Celi Merchant Monroe is a graphic designer and educator. She is interested in exploring the role of narrative in design and experimenting with typography across media. Her practice spans design areas, including branding, packaging, motion graphics, and creative coding. Celi's work has been recognized by Graphis, the Society of Typographic Arts, Communication Arts, and Graphic Design USA. She earned an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and is currently an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at St. Cloud State University. As an educator, she works to engage students through diverse tools and methodologies, emphasizing a process-driven approach to create intentional, meaningful work.
